I think that, in 16.04.x, an error dialogue box that showed in the
taskbar with the name "Ubuntu crash", included an option in the
dialogue box; "Details", with an arrowhead, which, when clicked, would
open a window within the dialogue box, which would then hunt and
display the error description details, and the applicable system
details, which could then be conveyed to the applicable bug eaters, in
addition to showing the user, the information that was available.
This functionality appears to have been removed, in the evolution from
16.04 to 20.04 .
