Rhythmbox codec problem

I am tryong to listen to a radio station over the net.  The Jazz station I want
to listen to is already listed in Rhythmbox.  I click on the play button and
get a pop-up that says

"Additional Multimedia Codecs Required"
"An application is requesting additional multimedia codecs"

and there was a message in rhythmbox

"Your GStreamer installation is missing a plug-in."

I did a search and found a message that states that I need the package
ubuntu-restricted-extras which I installed.  Now I still get the codecs pop-up
error message but not the plug-in error.

So how do I find out what codec is missing so I can install it?
