To add: I should reformat my thumbdrive I suppose as well to cover that loose end, too.
After I get done with updating and cleaning up windows, jeez, I definitely don't miss that mess, ha, I'm going to change out the HDD with one that has Ubuntu Studio already installed on it and see what happens with that hard drive.
