OK... and what laptop is that? What revision of its BIOS? Is it a BIOS
or is it UEFI?

So... what versions of what web browsers have you tried? More than one, surely?
Running under which OSes? (Again, ideally, more than one.)
Have you tried different protocols (e.g. downloading via FTP or Bittorrent)?
Presumably you have tried downloading something else, from some other
sites, for the sake of comparison -- right? Did that work OK?
Give us something to go on here!
