fortunately I read this thread, even while I'm not interested in it.

On Arch Linux I've got awesome-terminal-fonts and
ttf-nerd-fonts-symbols-mono installed, but

$ lsd -hl {,.}*xml

doesn't return an icon for xml files or xml links, all other files,
folders, etc. seem to be ok (see attached screenshot). Excepted of the
xml pitfall I like the output, so I changed my ls alias.

Seems not to be provided by official Ubuntu repositories:

https://packages.ubuntu.com/search?suite=xenial&searchon=names&keywords=lsd

https://github.com/Peltoche/lsd/releases doesn't provide signed
checksums for the Ubuntu compatible packages.
