the problem with randomly dpkg -i'ing debs from some site is that they
do never get updated in case upstream fixes a security issue ... 

...and that the app can break in case there are any ABI changes in the
underlying libraries ... so you need to regulary check by hand if the
deb got updated and manually install the new version.

this is the reason why i created the snap package btw ... it is
automatically updated if zoom releases a new deb so you get the
security fixes in a timely manner if they are released.
