I considered mentioning that, but you'd need BOTH sides to not support
auto-MDIX for that to be a concern, and in this day and age, that's
awfully unlikely.  Figured I didn't need to muddy the waters.  It's
probably been over a decade since I had to crimp a crossover cable...
