:-) Very true.

I have been using Ubuntu for 16 years now, remarkably -- longer than
my total time using Linux before I switched to Ubuntu. I've been on
this list ever since I started and I've been enjoying it for all that
time.

I was at FOSDEM in Brussels in February, delivering a talk in the
History programme, and I managed to meet up with (former?) listmember
Avi Greenbury and go for a few beers. That was great. Avi and I met
in the old Ubuntu Sounder list and at the London launch parties in the
early "noughties" -- probably around 2005 or 2006.
