Why would you want to give someone your data?
I just finished removing about 2 TB of data off my computer and storing
it in a much safer place than MS; I hope. I duplicated the data onto 2
sets of HDD and stored them Orico Plastic cases and now them set on a
shelf. If you need a safer place buy a fire proof safe for them
I also made a note of what I removed and stored it on the
computer. Noting fancy. Photos from date to date, Camera name, HDD number. I
labelled the cases and the HDD with the same info.
If you want you can leave the empty folder tree on the HDD they take up
very little space. When some of that data is needed it can be imported
back into the original location.
