Thanks to all who replied. The reason I asked was I had a system lockup.
One of the firefox windows reported that a task was using up resources
and wanted to know if I wanted to stop it or let it run. I tried to stop
it by clicking on the displayed option button, however, the system
remained locked overnight.
I tried to do an ssh from another system to no avail. How can I find
which of the tasks was the culprit? Since there are a total of 10-12
open tabs in the 4 instances of firefox running. A power off and restart
was the only way I could get passed the problem.
Thanks,
Jay
