SSD thrashing

Hi,

I can't follow your reasoning. Do you think that using a swap on the SSD
does trash the disk regarding the amount of write cycles?

I'm using SSDs only, excepted of my external backup drives. With
"using", I mean that I use them.

Why do you get a SSD, if you fear that usage without kid gloves does
shorten the life way too rapidly?

It's utter nonsense to get a SSD, when not using it in the same way
as you would use a HDD.

Regards,
Ralf
