Can't boot from the DVD I burned last night. Not sure why.

I burned an 18.04.3 iso on my Mac last night using right-click on Ubuntu iso -> burn.

1. My Mac reported that the DVD was written successfully but was then not able to read it. I don't *think* this has happened before.

2. Took the DVD to work, inserted it in my Ubuntu machine. Not recognized. Even weirder, nor is the DVD that I installed the system from (but my Win10 laptop can).

3. The Ubuntu system *will* read a CD of Clonezilla.

Here's the output of hwinfo --cdrom
20: SCSI 101.0: 10602 CD-ROM (DVD)

Am I missing a DVD mounting component?
