I've found what I've searched for. I'm purchasing a Canon Canoscan Lide 300
flat-bed scanner (73 €) and a second-hand Fujitsu ScanSnap S510M document
scanner.
The latter one costs only 40 €, including shipping, in a previous advert on
eBay (now it's gone ;-)). The advert states that there are no free drivers
for Windows 10 for the scanner. So I suppose this is the reason for the very
cheap price.
I have good experience with my Canoscan Lide 220, the predecessor of the
Lide 300, except that it broke a few days ago. And someone on another
mailing list has good experience with that ScanSnap. Both have complete
support by SANE and will most probably work out of the box.
Now I'm happy. :-)
Cheers,
Volker
