Recommendation for a scanner?

Yes, mine prints A3 as well as A4, but not double-sided: that only works 
on A4. And the scanner is SRA4.

I installed hplip and it prints fine. XSane works too (this is under 
Mint 19) and I don't think I had to do anything to the xsane config, it 
just searched for scanners and found it.
