ubuntu package management question

But qtchooser is installed and wants to use qt4's qmake (which is not actually 
installed).  I think the qtchooser package is either broken or there is some 
additional magic.  I did install qt5-make, but I need to specify the full path 
(/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/bin/qmake) as this *appears* to be only way to 
run it.
