Stardict has gone & Pan problem in Ubuntu 20.04

My original post as well as this one were posted from Pan 0.145 on 
Debian. Ubuntu 20.04 installs Pan 0.146. I'm not sure at this point if 
this a new bug/"feature" introduced by upstream in 0.146 version or 
something that has been tweaked in by Ubuntu devs.

Eighter way your expertise on this is slightly off. Thank you anyway for
