Hi,
Briefly: HP LaserJet M1132MFP On Ubuntu 20.04. It would print but not
scan. It now does both.
Basically, I've been working on this all afternoon. I've been running
hp-check, to see what packages might be missing and, after numerous runs of
hp-check and installing packages via "sudo apt install", there are some
packages it complains are incompatible, and some it complains that are
missing that I was unable to find:-
*Required package dependencies*
Incompatible :- 'libcups2'' and 'gtk2-engines-pixbuf'
Missing 'python3-pyqt4'
*Optional package Dependencies*
Missing:- 'python3-dbus.mainloop.qt'
The packages marked "Missing" are those reported by hp-check as missing and
I am unable to find to install.
However, despite those problems, scanning has just started working.
Printing still works :)
At the moment I don't know for sure what got scanning going again. But I
thought I'd pass this info on in case someone else has this problem.
TIA,
Ian
