HP Printer driver requires access to pgp.mit.edu

Hi,

I was trying to install a printer driver for a HP LaserJet M1132 on a new
install of Ubuntu 18.03 when I ran into a problem.

Problem turns out that the driver software needs access to pgp.mit.edu. Now
I first tried this over the weekend so thought the server might be down for
maintenance. Tried it this evening and I am still experiencing the same
problem.

Tried connecting via ping pgp.mit.edu and failed to connect - 100% packet
loss.

Interestingly enough, I can access https://pgp.mit.edu/ from a web browser.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Is there a way around it?
