me with a name resolution message in browser bottom left so I added
8.8.8.8 to /etc/resolv.conf . Also again for firefox I would just
go to their site for old versions, download the zip/ gz tar 
and see which ones run. I was through that before and the process
is pretty direct. But again it may be helpful to find out what
is wrong with this one first.
