How do I get rid of unusable application icon on launcher?

I opened a CLI, started Netbeans, locked Netbeans to the desktop, closed
Netbeans. From the CLI, I changed directory to ~/.local/share/applications,
edited apache_netbeans_ide_11_0.desktop, changed all occurrences of
/home/owen/netbeans-11 to /home/owen/netbeans/netbeans-11, saved
apache_netbeans_ide_11_0.desktop and closed the editor.

Netbeans appears to open and configure itself as it would if I started it
from the CLI.
