I find it highly amusing that the German phrase for the British "it's
all Greek to me" is "it's a Bohemian village." Meanwhile, the
Bohemians -- the Czechs -- call Germany "Nemecko". This translates
roughly as "the land of the mute", "the people who cannot speak." :-D
