Sorry for the delay in responding.  Today, Sunday, is Fathers Day in the US. 
There has been family visiting.

Yes, I received your messages.  I do not want or need a full MTA I only have
need to send an occasional email to myself.

So far the only program I have tried is "senEmail" which I am having a problem
with it connecting to my hosted email server because of security problems.  I
will be trying your recommendation of "UCB Mail" now that the weekend os over.
