copy/paste not working

I installed clipit - the continuation of parcellite. I'd guess it keeps
its own file of copied material, with a history. Nice. But it can't
seem to copy from falkon, or the other non-copy pgms either. Perhaps
it is the actual copy operation in these pgms that is broken - ctl C,
right click/copy, or menu/copy - all don't work. May be that's the part
of KDE that is missing...

Most everything in these KDE pgms works as expected, but missing
copy/paste is a serious flaw. Is there a part of KDE that could be
installed to enable this?
