Btw. since Gene and I were video and audio engineers. I added a switch
to one of my 19" audio effects, that allows to cut of ground completely.
This kind of brute force is strictly forbidden in Geramny. Ground lift
needs to be done by a safety capacitor (AC resistance). I know better.
Kids, don't do this at home, to get rid of ground loops.
