Do you know *what type* of data Lazarus is sending to the queue?
That is, plain ASCII text, PostScript, PDF, some kind of image...

I know there are versions of the standard filters around that gag on 
some types of data (I've had issues with them before).

Can you turn on verbose logging and see if it tells you what filters 
it's using?
