Also, ...

"
bret at bret-Aspire-V3-772-UbuntuMATE:~$ sudo apt install exfat-fuse exfat-utils
sudo: unable to resolve host bret-Aspire-V3-772-UbuntuMATE
[sudo] password for bret:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
exfat-fuse is already the newest version (1.2.3-1).
exfat-utils is already the newest version (1.2.3-1).
0 to upgrade, 0 to newly install, 0 to remove and 39 not to upgrade.
bret at bret-Aspire-V3-772-UbuntuMATE:~$

Another UbuntuMATE 16.04.x system.

And I get pretty much the same response (except the currently
installed packages have version number 1.2.8-1) on a UbuntuMATE 18.04
system.

I am not complaining - I am happy that the software apparently was
already installed (and, the latest applicable versions).

I am now curious, as to whether other people also already have the
utilities installed, without having to install them, on Ubuntu Linux.
