failed to upgrade code error (2)

Dear, good morning.
I tried to upgrade ubuntu 18.04 and it was failed.
>From terminal I received the message:

dpkg: eror: parsing file '/var/lib/dpkg/status' near line 20967 package
'bzip2': field name 'aper' must be followed by colon
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2)


What do I need to do to solve this problem ?
