Probably yes, if it depends on the kernel version. The recommendation 
from <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/FAQ#Debugging_Questions> is to file 
a bug at launchpad. You can use the command

ubuntu-bug linux

in a terminal which would also collect other relevant information about 
your machine.
