You need to learn your terminology.

Exchange is _groupware_. It is for a team of co-workers to share
email, calendars, address books, and other such info.

STMP is a protocol for _sending_ mail. Not for receiving or storing it.

To compare SMTP to Exchange is equivalent to asking "which should I
get, a Ferrari Enzo or a reverse pedal?"

You often post paranoid rants on this and the openSUSE lists.

As a paranoid person who is convinced their government is spying on
you, you should not even consider Microsoft or any other proprietary
product.

And if you don't know the difference between SMTP and, say, IMAP or
POP3, then you are not skilled enough to run an email server, so don't
even try.

Sign up with some secure webmail server outside Singapore.
