Ubuntu is the latest LTS release. The default is X.

Aehm??? You want names? The project leader answered me. He didn't push
me away. Only, if he can't answer because he didn't touch that
subsystem, it's quite logical to ask here, isn't it???

There's the problem: In Synaptics, some of those packages still show
dependencies and want to delete them as well, i.e. LibreOffice!!!
