Monitor info keeps getting posted to syslog Ubuntu 18.04

On Ubuntu 18.04.1, I had a look at /var/log/syslog and didn't see anything.
I am using a Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with an Intel i5-2520M processor with
integrated graphics.

What kind of hardware are you getting this problem on?
