how to use wireless dongle

The manufacturer used either dkms auto install or manual.
I kept looking through the syslog and finally found a line that said
Aug 7 13:08:12 kernel: [ 27.527190] 8812au: loading out-of-tree
module taints kernel.
Aug 7 13:08:12 kernel: [ 27.528737] 8812au: module verification
failed: signature and/or required key missing - tainting kernel
There were a few other lines that seemed to indicate though it had
been installed.
So, uninstalled it and then reinstalled after a reboot manually.
When I did so, under wireless, there is the option to use the dongle now.
