A good 90% of the time, I completely agree. But you absolutely can have
something go wrong that FUBARs the integrity of the FS. I *still*
wouldn't trust it (well, until it's re-formatted), but I wouldn't chuck
it until I'd determined to my satisfaction that it was a physical and
not logical issue.
