It is *most likely* something going on with volker-wysk.de's mail exchanger
(mail.volker-wysk.de). If that machine is busy, it will "defer" mail
connections. Mailman (or the outbound SMTP server on lists.ubuntu.com) will
wait for awhile and try again. This will repeat until the mail gets through or
5 days pass, at which point this will be given up.
Don't feel bad. This sort of thing happens all the time with the likes of
yahoo.com and aol.com. Those people often get their E-Mail a day or so
late, so an hour or so late now and then is no big deal... :-)
