I've put this in my resolv.conf for now:

# Dynamic resolv.conf(5) file for glibc resolver(3) generated by
resolvconf(8)
# DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE BY HAND -- YOUR CHANGES WILL BE OVERWRITTEN
nameserver 127.0.1.1
search 8.8.8.8
#search fritz.box

This should be enough for trying it. If it works, I'll need to place
that 8.8.8.8 (google's DNS) there permanently. My machine (my desktop)
is a Kubuntu 16.04. My laptop is running under Kubuntu-17.04. There the
resolv.conf looks differently:

# Dynamic resolv.conf(5) file for glibc resolver(3) generated by
resolvconf(8)
# DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE BY HAND -- YOUR CHANGES WILL BE OVERWRITTEN
# 127.0.0.53 is the systemd-resolved stub resolver.
# run "systemd-resolve --status" to see details about the actual
nameservers.
nameserver 127.0.0.53

I'm wondering if that is important...

Bye
Volker
