Hi,
since I don't want to join an Ubuntu team for several reasons, one of
them is that I don't have the time to do so, maybe somebody else wants
to provide and maintain a script similar to the one I already posted
several times, IIRC to several Ubuntu flavour mailing lists. Feel free
to take over the attached script and perhaps add zenity (display GTK+
dialogs) to make it more user-friendly.
I guess for all those who already have an Ubuntu install, but who are
still not familiar with using gnupg and checksums, such a helper is
useful. AFAIK some subscribers already considered it more than helpful.
