Hi,
I didn't yet install it for Ubuntu, but tested it already on Arch Linux.
Some options seem not to work and there's an annoying bug, that
seemingly does affect Ubuntu as well.
"The only thing I've noticed with stopping oneko it may drop your mouse
cursor back to the default "x" shaped cursor for X." -

[rocketmouse at archlinux ~]$ oneko -patchlevel
Patchlevel :1.2.sakura.5
After quitting e.g.
[rocketmouse at archlinux ~]$ oneko -neko
by ^C or killall oneko running
[rocketmouse at archlinux ~]$ openbox --restart
fortunately does restore the cursor without ending the user sesson.
Unfortunately some WMs only provide a --replace option. At least using
--replace for my openbox setup does finish the user session and ends up
with the lightdm greeter.
Regards,
Ralf
