Debian runs just as well without systemd. The only difference between
the two is that Devuan rebuilds certain packages without linking
against libsystemd. That's not much of an achievement; I've done it
too. The Devuan achievement is the build system that it's set up and
the app that allows it to override automatically the rebuilt Debian
packages with its own.
