Weird screen flickering with Intel HD Graphics 5500

Yes, exactly! The problem started right after I upgraded to Artful 
around two weeks ago!

In normal usage the renderer is "Mesa DRI Intel HD Graphics 5500 
(Broadwell GT2)", but with "nomodeset" it was llvmpipe.
