I can't see the video, but some possible work-arounds for screen corruption...
Temporary:
Press Ctrl+Alt+F1 (through to F6) to switch to a text-only console.
Press Ctrl+Alt+F7 to switch back.
Permanent:
All "nomodeset" to your kernel parameters.
