Well the real reason is that systemd likes to do things like that.

Mess with you :p

Say you want a pizza, it will give you meatballs.

But if you want meatballs, it will give you a pizza :p.


If you have two partitions in your system that happen to have the same 
label, then systemd will get confused and if you were to manually mount 
the second one then (if it is in your fstab) it will unmount it and 
mount the first one.

That would happen if you made a clone of some disk.


But I have no clue really sorry :p.

(Pointless message, I know).

I don't know why you would have a fallback DNS in any case.

You could remove it?
