I guess but that's why I myself made a deal for no extra money with the
dealer that I could return it.
Other than that you sound unhappy with the device itself as well, so why
not risk getting a better product instead of sticking to this one while
you can?
Seems you already fall into the trap of excusing yourself too much with
staying with where you are ;-).
I know I should have responded to your last (2) messages, you were
already sinking into a kind of depressive "Oh well, it's the way it is"
feeling ;-).
Yes you could get another defective one.
In my history of using computers, and I haven't used that many different
monitors of course...
I have NEVER used one with a defective pixel.
I don't remember ALL of the flatpanels at university (this is a long
time ago) ever having a dead pixel. My older 37" TV didn't have a dead
pixel, this one (22") doesn't have a dead pixel. The 19" doesn't have a
dead pixel.
Yours is BLACK; you say it is hidden; fine, but you are excusing
yourself ;-).
Well too late for that I guess, you're already in it now.
That is what depression is my friend ;-). Giving up and then imagining
all kinds of excuses and doom scenario's if you go for what you want
;-).
You're now stuck to a support request as you say which means that if you
stick to it will be weeks before you can make any choice, and then
you're too late to return anything.
Gotta work the metal when it is hot.

So you're basically saying "I can't burden this poor dealer any more"
;-).
I thought it was about you you know :p.
Not sentimental feelings on behalf of this dealer ;-).
Well, whatever. Good luck next time :p.
And good luck with it now, I guess :p.
Regards.
