*Ubuntu 16.04 does not "discover" the printer Samsung ML-1660, though "printer-driver-splix" has been installed.

Hello Kim and Everybody.

Thanks for trying to help me.  I have been trying to follow your advises - 
however, I still do not get my printer working at *Ubuntu 16.04.
