Mailing list issues

Good evening everyone,

I wanted to pass on that it would appear there are several related domains
that are currently blocking emails from the Ubuntu User mail server. From
what I understand it has affected around 100 users of the mailing list at
this stage and may in fact affect all mailing lists on lists.ubuntu.com

I'm not sure of the exact cause but all the relevant information has been
passed to the Canonical staff who run the mail servers (if anyone is
lurking, see RT# 29474 for details) and should be fixed in due course.

If you are affected it blocks all mailing list emails and after a period of
time that causes the mail server to deactivate and then after a time
unsubscribe the users. If you see this email, rest assured, it's not
affecting you.

I appreciate sending an email to the list will not reach these people who
are affected at the moment but it will still reach the archive in case
anyone affected is looking that up to see what is happening.

As soon as we hear anything further on the issue we'll let you know. As
