Startup Applications not working in 16.04

I compared it to my old laptop that is running 14.04. It works there.

Exec=/usr/bin/xscreensaver -nosplash
Hidden=false
NoDisplay=false
X-GNOME-Autostart-enabled=true
Name[en_US]=Xscreensaver
Name=Xscreensaver
Comment[en_US]=Screensaver
Comment=Screensaver
The only thing I could see, other than xscreensaver -nosplash, was the
'X-GNOME-Autostart-enabled=true". In 16.04, it is enable and in 14.04 it
is enabled. I changed my 16.04 file to match the 14.04 version and still
no luck. Still get the daemon not running alert.
