Hi,

are UEFI and LVM really needed?

I never used UEFI and never used GPT, but once upon a time I
tested LVM.

For my needs LVM provides a lot of disadvantages and no advantage at
all. My computer provides UEFI, but I don't have a reason to use it.

I only use, what is needed, in my case MBR, no UEFI, no GPT and no LVM.
