No, support at google.com isn't a userful adress. I got the following in the 
reply:

"Bitte beachten Sie, dass aufgrund der Vielzahl von Anfragen, E-Mails, die 
unter dieser E-Mail-Adresse support-de at google.com eingehen, nicht gelesen und 
zur Kenntnis genommen werden können."

Translation: "Please notice that, because of the high number of enquiries, e-
mails which come in at support-de at google.com, can't be read or noticed."

So what do they have this email address for ..!?  %-(
