How should this help? If the disk is never idle, it will never spin
down, apart from this GVFS at least wakes up USB drives in standby
mode, that's why I don't have GVFS installed. Anyway, much likely GVFS
wakes up internal drives, too. The gist still is, that continuous
writing to a drive means, that it never is idle, so it never will go
into standby mode.

I checked iotop and iostat to see what was going on, jbd2 is constantly
writing to all the disks for no reason. Code: root at nas:~# iostat
