How to boot a win 7 hard drive that was in Ubuntu system?

I dunno.

yannubuntu is apparently helping a lot of people who don't seem to
know how to help themselves.

I'd rather help people help themselves.

I've always used grub's command line tools or fdisk or gparted's gui
stuff to fix my boot problems.

If I were stuck with a boot problem now, I believe I have gparted
installed on a system (openbsd, but Ubuntu would also work) on a
bootable USB drive. That's really GUI and pushbutton. I usually have
some bootable media with enough tools to handle stuff like that.

It really isn't rocket science.
