You can copy it back by simply dragging it from wherever it is into one
of the remote IMAP mailboxes. It might take a while to copy...
I do suggest you COPY it, not MOVE it. When you are sure it is there,
then delete the original if you wish.
The advantage that IMAP has over POP is that it is designed for storing
emails on the server, so you can access them from multiple devices.
Most clients keep a cache on the local system for speed of access.
